Why should I enter employee data into Growee if my accountant already handles it?

Growee provides transparency for employees. Accounting systems don't give employees access to their profiles and data history. With Growee, HR or accounting can avoid questions like, "How many vacation days do I have left?" or "When was my last evaluation?"

Managers or HR can avoid questions like "Does employee X have all their documents?" "What feedback did X receive at the last evaluation?" "Where can I find a copy of X's ID/contract/addendum?"

These are just a few of the many questions Growee answers directly for employees and managers through its features and user interface.

How many documents can I upload for an employee?

As many as you need. Growee encrypts documents in transit and at rest to ensure the highest security.

Who can see information about other employees?

By default, Admin, Manager, and HR see full employee profiles. Salary fields need a separate salary permission, which Admin holds by default and a custom role can be granted. An employee sees their own profile and colleague fields such as name, work email, phone number, birth date, position, and department; a colleague's personal email and home address are not shown to them.

Is it necessary to save salary and contractual information for each employee in Growee?

No, it’s not necessary. To save an employee and give them access to the platform, you need six fields: Name, Surname, Email, Role, Contract type, and Start Date. Other fields are optional but enhance the experience when used in modules like time tracking, document generation, and reporting.

Can I export employee data for payroll or accounting purposes?

Yes. Growee allows you to export employee information and bank details directly from the platform. You can filter employees by department, contract type, or other criteria before exporting, making it easy to send the exact data you need to your accountant or payroll provider.

Can I customize the fields I collect for each employee?

Yes. While Growee requires six basic fields (Name, Surname, Email, Role, Contract type, and Start Date), you can add custom fields to capture any additional information relevant to your organization, such as emergency contacts, certifications, or company-specific data points.
